Regular Support, supervision and CPD
I am deeply committed to my capacity to hold space for you. Therefore, it is essential that I am self-aware and have my own good support in my life. When I feel relationally and professionally supported and boundaried, I can do my best work for my clients.
As a lifelong learner there are things I do regularly to support this. Some are to do with deepening my understanding of my own body and mind such as daily kundalini yoga with Rebecca Edwards, my own regular hatha, yin and Nidra yoga practice, regular somatic experiencing and focussing sessions, and ongoing craniosacral therapy sessions.
My greatest teacher is my relationship with my own self, body and mind, and paying attention to what’s emerging. I remain a committed role model of the work I do being evident in my own life.
Supervision
The other way I am supported is by reflecting on my work and getting the benefit of the experience of my peers and teachers. I am very lucky to have regular supervision with Jo Birch (coaching and facilitation work) and Anki Karr (somatic experiencing).
These sessions are confidential and I do not give any information that might reveal the identity of my clients. I take good care of your data, and have been registered with the GDPR since 2015.
